Bryan Sheehan, a Senior Advisor with Pure Strategies, helps clients develop and communicate sustainability strategies and results, and assess and improve the sustainability of their products and supply chains.  Recent projects include: helping leading life sciences companies identify product stewardship risks and opportunities and communicate their sustainability goals and progress; performing and reporting on life cycle assessments (LCA) for several product manufacturers; and developing a supplier sustainability scorecard for a manufacturer.   

With 14 years’ prior experience in the medical device field in addition to his sustainability expertise, Bryan plays a prominent role in supporting our life sciences clients, including MilliporeSigma, Biogen Idec, Covidien, IDEXX Laboratories, and New England Biolabs.  Other clients include Hypertherm, RM2, and the Environmental Health Strategy Center.  Bryan also plays a key role in our Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) practice.

Prior to joining Pure Strategies, Bryan was the Founder and President of SymbioSus Sustainability Consulting, which helped small and medium-sized enterprises gain the benefits of increased sustainability.  Bryan has a Master’s degree in Sustainable Business Management from Green Mountain College, an MBA from Babson College, and a B.S. in Marketing from Drexel University.  Bryan holds a Professional Certificate in Sustainability from the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP), has completed Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)-certified training in the GRI sustainability reporting process, and has instructed on sustainability communications for the Institute for Corporate Sustainability.
